Project #2 / Virginia / Flush Left

I've made both columns for the inside text in my FlexPrint brochure flush left, as suggested by Coni. Please give me your feedback so I can decide which version to use, so I can finish this project. Many thanks in advance for your input.

NEW -- Inside spread with text in tan box now FL.

OLD -- Inside spread with text in tan box moved to center.

  1. I hate to have my opinions different from a professor because they have much more wisdom in the field then students but in this case I love the old version with the left column FRRL and the right column FLRR more. The text flows in the same direction as the photo wheel starting in the vertical center and working it's way outward. Besides the objective side of Art's tactical and technical rules, there is also a opinionated side driven by emotion that makes Art subjective at the same time. So, I am comfortable in this one circumstance to disagree with Coni's suggestion and for what it's worth, it's my opinion to use the column alignment in the older version.

  2. Boy, I'm torn on the alignment question. I feel like the FR and FL columns, meeting in the middle, are more interesting and unique. And yet, all flush left text is easier to read. I'm afraid I'm not going to be much help on this decision, Virginia.

  3. I'm afraid i'm going to agree with Sue on this one. Tough Call. I like the artistic appearance that the FR, FL alignment gives however that being said FL, FL is easier to read. I think this piece is will look good whichever version you choose. Sorry I wasn't much help with this decision.
