I've been playing around with several possibilities for my identity designs. Attached are six options. Please let me know which one(s) are the strongest in your estimation.
NOTE: The large SYIS will not print as darkly as it appears on screen.
Sue - last 2 are the most successful in my opinion. The first versions with background design is something that would have been designed 20 years ago ( I used this design approach for many clients)... so it may look dated. The middle version, 1/c is nice... but it pales in comparison to the 2/color versions at the end. I enjoy the texture of the last one, a lot. Your entire name is there, designed in a unique and lovely way. I think the combination of sans serif (Susan) and script (Shute Design) sets just the right tone for today's design trends. Nice.
I, too, prefer the last design because of the texture and the combination of sans serif and script in the heading. Using four initials (SYIS) seems too complicated to me, and doesn't work (and the "I" is hidden).
