#2 still has a contrast issue between the background and the title. I think, if you can highlight the "A" more clearly it will get us started with the word - which will help readability of the whole title. So - try pushing that outer glow to be lighter and larger around the letter(s). Also - your color palette includes some warm colors (red and orange)... which come forward and would help the type separate from the background. Consider replacing the cool grey with a warmer light color? This is almost there.

Chris, did you do the illustrations for the DVD? They are very dynamic. If you did them yourself, nice work!
