PSA Project.

This is my PSA project I adjusted the text wrap around the tire to fit more uniformly. The NHTSA logo was replaced with a higher resolution image and I placed it in the yellow rectangle. Also added somewhat of a shadow behind the rim and tire.

  1. Greg - this looks pretty good. I only have 1 suggestion, and it's based on the theory of "fewer page elements make stronger designs."

I notice that there is a significant amount of negative space in the middle of your page - sitting between the 2 text blocks on the yellow background.

And, I notice that you have 2 elements at the bottom that seem to be sitting in such a way as to symmetrically balance the page.(Drive Safe...., and the little logo).

But... the page balance seems to actually be almost asymmetrical with the relationship of the image to text. And, asymmetry is a more interesting way to balance a page.

So - for those reasons I'm suggesting you move the lower right element (logo on yellow) up into the space between the text blocks... to activate that space, and allow the page to re-balance asymmetrically. So - no element will appear in lower right - just concrete background.

Try it out - see what you think. This is really close to being done - nice text wrap!

  2. Oops - just noticed a detail you need to attend to: the inconsistent leading of the space between "motorcycle accidents" and "involving...". Too close - look at leading used in rest of paragraph and duplicate.
