Fruit Loop Project

Here is my reworked Fruit Loop cereal box. Adjustments made based on class critique and I added more excitement to the background.

  1. I like this a lot! It has so much more movement and feels much more fun. I prefer the bottom one with the tilted purple text but I may try arcing it to align with the green loop.

  2. Greg - Yes, this is much improved. And, I can see a missed opportunity to create an overlap, which will add more depth and "pop" to the design with a simple tweak:

The green background shape that swoops up from bottom, moves behind swing and behind heading could shift, getting wider, so that is also sits behind the head of the upper most child. Allowing his head to "break" into this shape would be a continuation of the movement you have started with the angles on the page.

Then... you'd have some more options for "A fun filled..." because... you haven't really found its place yet in the design. Keep thinking about this text block as a shape... experiment with pt size, and how the lines "turn"... which effects how it will "fit" into the space you create for it.

    Almost there!

  3. Much improved and much more fun! Have you considered arching "A fun filled ..." along the curve of the green (or the blue) background shape?

  4. Much more dynamic, Greg! The only problem I see is trying to figure out a more effective way to handle "A fun-filled way..." Nice update! :)
